The 421 selected Freesound training recordings retain their individual CC0, CC BY 3.0, or CC BY 4.0 licenses in TRAINING-CREDITS.md.

Changes: audio was converted locally to mono 16 kHz WAV. Inputs shorter than 2 seconds were centered in zero padding; no gain normalization, denoising, manual trimming, or event relabeling was applied. The learned classifier uses Apple Audio Feature Print sound revision 1, a 2-second window, and 0.75 overlap. No source recordings are included in the app or download.

The license grant covers this model and recipe artifact; it does not relicense Apple frameworks or the app’s other code. These acknowledgments do not imply endorsement by the researchers, contributors, or Apple. Sound detection is experimental; this notice makes no clinical claim.
